WarpEnergy

WarpEnergy is an innovation-driven company built by a multidisciplinary team with deep expertise across materials science, electrochemistry, and system engineering.

Led by Prof. Xunyu Lu, the team brings extensive experience in water-electrolysis hydrogen production and strong capabilities in industrialization — from catalyst design and membrane-electrode fabrication to full-system integration.

At the core of WarpEnergy's competitiveness are its independently developed catalytic materials, protected by 100% proprietary intellectual property.

Based on these advanced materials, WarpEnergy has developed a world-leading, ultra-low-energy-consumption AEM electrolyzer achieving 40.2 kWh per kilogram of hydrogen, surpassing nearly all existing commercial technologies.

WarpEnergy maintains close technical cooperation with Honeywell and Evonik, jointly advancing next-generation membranes to accelerate the large-scale commercialization of AEM water electrolysis.

Through continuous innovation in materials and system architecture, WarpEnergy's AEM stacks deliver high-efficiency  hydrogen production while significantly reducing overall system costs — laying a solid technological foundation for the global, scalable deployment of green hydrogen.
